fist fights

^^

Dude, that's a hell of a post.
However, Bill Gates may be the richest man in the world, he still is a pussy.

I understand the mentality that you describe.

However, the main issue I see is that if you had the choice, you would rather your own child grow up with a life on the street fending for themselves than a life in a decent public school. That doesn't seem right to me at all. If you care about your family enough to steal food for them, you should care enough to put them in the best position to find success, which would mean raising them in a safe environment where they can get an education. There's a difference between sending a kid to a school where there are sometimes fist fights and sending them to a school where carrying weapons is the norm. You would kill for your parents, but wouldn't even send your own kids to college if you could easily afford to do so?

I also find it weird that someone with your background is posting on CC, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

well JimmyJ im sorry but your wrong, because Evander is my zone school and well thats what my HS diploma says on it. the other points you make aren't valid

I am not a beliver in raising pussies, my kids will get what they need. The rest they are going to be on there own for. I wont spoil them and if they want somthing they will learn to work for it. I am a beliver that they will find succes due to the way I plan to raise them. Like ive said look at my back ground, and I think im quite successful so far, and have at 2 internships at IBM and Lockheed, for EE. I go to a decent college were I am excelling and all of this, from the way my parents raised me.

I will not pay for my children's college, once they turn 18 they are on there own and I will always provide the basics for them, but never more than that. I know my grandparents didn't pay for my parents education, both of them are successful in my view.

I am probably going to stop posting on this thread, as I agree with kamcsnerd. I can compete with you guys in your good life world, and still beat the crap out of all of you.

circuit...

i agree with most of what you say except the part about killing for food. would you not try to exhaust all possible ways first of getting the food? like maybe asking or trading instead of just hitting someone over the head with a brick and taking their food? or at the very least just steal...

oh of course, all other possibilities would have been exausted. Im talking about absolute survival needs.

ok you were scaring me there for a second.

i think most people would do the same and k!ll for food in very extreme circumstances.

in fact i think people would go cannonball and start eating each other

JimmyJ, I never compared survival of the fittest to having physical superiority. Survival of the fittest is just what it is. Who ever can survive the situation, regardless of how they manage to survive, is considered to be the fittest. That means using brute strength, using intelligence, or even money, etc. So yea I'll stick with my comment about the world operating on survival of the fittest.

Living in San Jose, if you don't go around talking crap about others you will not get into a fight. Most fights I see are for the most pathetic of reasons, and am glad to have to not taken place in any of those fights.

lololol this thread is funny
circuit is a clear idiot and will be behind bars/dead/living in poverty in the next 5 years.

im sure those "internships" with a degree from ur "decent" college will get u far in life rofl

In some ways I agree with Circuit. Except I think some kids need a more sheltered life than others, you can't just have a one size fits all policy for raising your children. You might get one who is the biggest kid on the block and another who has a physical handicap, do you expect a kid like that to fend for him self in the cold hard world?

You should be able to fight, but you shouldn't always be looking for a fight. I am pretty confident of my fighting abilities, but I'm not going to go down into the "ghetto" and look for trouble, that is just stupid.

Guys, circuit is not the hardcore gangsta teen raised in the New York ghettos that he wants you to think he is. I've seen plenty of kids just like him. This kid is a sheltered Bronx native whose parents are rich enough to send him to one of the few private schools in the south Bronx, because otherwise he'd have to go to his zoned school-- Evander Childs-- which boasts more fist and knife fights a day than your typical Californian prison. BUT, because of his childhood background, he WANTS to bask in the notoriety of having grown up in a rough neighborhood AND live in a sheltered family and get an education at the same time-- he wants the best of both worlds, the "gangsta" one and the civilized one. Think Kanye West (minus the musical talent). It's sad though, cuz he's never going to make it far in either world. Nobody in the real world will respect him for his childish ideas about physical violence (not to mention he doesn't even seem intelligent anyway). that AND, he will still get the crap beat out of him in the "ghetto" world (probably for "tryna talk all educated n sh1t" and going on a website called collegeconfidential.com).

First of all I am no hardcore gangster and have never played that role. I don't live in a ghetto, sure Its not the best of places but I love it and call it home. I have lived on 238th street and white plains road for my entire life. My mother makes 34K a year and she works 60 hours a week while supporting 2 kids and her mother and father, I went to public school my entire life. My father was a self made millionaire who lost it all to a addiction to crack. Thogh this was all when I was 1 year old. so I don't remember any of it and well have never even met my father.

I graduated from Evander, I went to my zone school, and its not as bad as you are saying. I didn't go to a private school, as there would be no way I could afford it.

you can think what you want about me. But it doesn't really matter. I know wear I am from and I love who I am and who I will be.

I just love how you make so many judgments about me and ya don't know a thing, you probably think I am white also, right?

u must be indian

closer but no.

Rousseau's Social Contract in practice, ladies and gentlemen. Circuit wishes to remain in his state of nature; therefore, according to the laws of the social contract, he must be cast out from society and will not be afforded the privileges therein.

Circuit, I believe you are black and as you have never had the chance to live a sheltered life in suburbia, you must believe that your environment is "great". I really doubt that you are intelligent to any degree (affirmative action at work?) due to your ideas.

Im not black either.

Damn, he's hispanic

my guess is persian

I avoided at all costs to presume that he's black even though in all likelihood he was black. People are so quick to jump on the PC bandwagon these days that you gotta be careful before presuming anything. But since he brought up the race issue himself, I'm gonna go ahead and say he's either black or Hispanic-- because honestly, I haven't seen anything else in the south Bronx.
