Hi everyone! I just found out about this forum/thread 20 minutes ago. I am so relived that there’s a place online where we can chat. My name is Alyssa, I’m 20, been out of high school for almost 3 years now. I applied for an AAS in Illustration (initially Fine Arts but I changed my mind early in the application process). My gpa is low because I did awful in my first high school, and my second high school that I started attending in Junior year doesn’t have gpa’s (and I did amazingly there… oh well, hopefully they’ll take into account that I passed every class in that school), my essays were great, and my portfolio is very, very strong if I say so myself. So it’s pretty hit or miss for me, hopefully they see that the school I did so bad at, I haven’t attended in 5 years! I’m a very skilled painter and illustrator, I’m very proud of my portfolio (and glad that I didn’t apply straight out of high school personally, as I’m not sure if my skills were AS good 3 years ago) anyway yeah! I’m just anxiously waiting and the anticipation is killing me! If we all get accepted, let’s be friends!

All of my financial aid is checked off and the last one says “award pending admission” hope that’s a good sign! I applied for FBM, and I’m from Connecticut! Good luck all!

I live in Boston. My COA has been available for quite some time too now. Does anyone know what it means if your final financial aid step is reviewed? I’m so anxious.
Ugh, my step 3 is still an orange exclamation point and there’s nothing for my final financial aid review. I applied late, hopefully that’s why
