To anyone who was waitlisted or rejected, when you go to myfit, click my financial checklist, then site map, then class search, and the drop box (“search by term”), does it have “view only” next to Summer 2018 and Fall 2018? @woahcool is developing a theory that that may be a more accurate version of knowing whether you got in or not over the COA, since not all acceptants get their COA changed. Hi guys, I am an international student from Taiwan, and I think I am older than every other applicant. I am 29 yo.
I have been working in a Taiwanese own garment bulk production company base in Vietnam. I hold an BBA degree. I love fashion so much, so that I decide to start from the beginning. I applied Fashion Design AAS. I am living in Vietnam, but I left my home address in Taiwan while submitting application. My parents are out of town until Sunday, I could not wait for this long. I sent an email to ask about school’s decision for me, and I got a reply email with PDF nest day.
I got “waitlisted”… Does anyone know how is the odd to get in while you got waitlisted?
I think I have to wait until the expiration date of paying deposit for those students who got accepted… and will them send you an email to inform you that you don’t get in eventually?

I’m extremely worried! I haven’t received a letter, packet or an email pertaining to my admissions decision and have make by May 1st. I got accepted into 6 other schools, been waiting for months for it to arrive. I live in NJ and still nothing! I applied the Illustration AAS, has anyone who illustration major yet??
Still nothing in today’s mail for my daughter… I plan to call again first thing Monday morning… This is so late to be letting applicants know. I wonder if they’re always this delayed.
@wannagetinfit From my experience of getting waitlisted by another school last year, they only email you if you get in. If you do get in, you should hear back within a week or two after the deposit is due.
My daughter’s COA updated and her status now says Undergraduate for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019!!! Fingers crossed the rumors of this being an indicator of acceptance are true!!!
Mail came today and nothing from FIT…gotta hope I get it on Monday sigh…

@kellude MyFIT…Go to My financial Aid Checklist …My Overall Status of Financial Aid … select Academic Year 2018-2019. It’s right there at the top left of the page. COA is listed below. Good luck to everyone!
@dmoh88 Thank you! Mine says “default in fall 2018” and “default in spring 2019”. I still don’t have COA but I’m hoping it’s just because I submitted my fafsa late. I’m so eager to find out.
