Not sure what the difference is “business school”???
My COA has increased from $000. I think I’ve been accepted. My portfolio and essays were very strong after all. I still have fingers crossed though.
Nearly lost it when I saw email from FIT Admissions and the message starts “Sorry, but…” MyFIT is down all this weekend.
I’m curious to see if anything will look different after it’s back up on Monday, we’re so close! Good luck everyone!
Me too! I freaked out for a minute! @Aussie50
For those of you being asked to apply for a scholarship? What are your stats and what major did you apply to?
@lisaol I applied for advertising and marketing communications, I am a high school senior and I have a 96.5 GPA. My high school doesn’t go off the 4.0 scale but I think my GPA converts to about a 3.8
I applied for the fine art major, and I’ve submitted the portfolio of 12-20 peaces I put in 19! Everything is in and I’ve just been looking into when we finally get the results and I found this page so, appreciate it and what I hear is they send them right around April 1.
My COA updated and I’m guessing that it’s a good sign based on other forums!!
Can everyone see “class search” on their portal and even select classes??
@val1999 where can class search be found on the portal?
I applied for Communications Design and my COA updated a few days ago! I hope that’s a good sign. But it said it was based off living at home when I want to dorm, is anyone else dorming that has that too?
I applied for Communicatjons Design as well but I am not dorming and can’t see my COA at all…
I’ve been watching this forum for a while and from what I understand it is found under “My Financial Aid Checklist”. If someone can explain what their COA looks like on their page, or share a screenshot, it would be much appricated! Thanks.
@val1999 @25marissa25
Class search can be found when you click “My Financial Aid Checklist” and then click “Site Map” on the top of the page. After, you should see class search on the right.
It won’t allow me to upload pictures. In past forums your COA updating signifies that you’re in, I really hope it’s the same for this year!
The COA is under “My Financial Aid Checklist” > “2018-2019 “> and then it shows up when you go to blue link that says “Overall Financial Aid Status”. If it hasn’t updated it’ll say your overall cost of attendance is .00
@mlsa27 Thank you! When I do that it says “status of your academic progress is NOT YET REVIEWED” so not sure if my account just does not provide a COA. Good luck to everyone!
Does anyone get “Error 500 - Internal Server Error” when they click on My Financial Aid Checklist or on Application Status? Before the update to MyFIT I was able to click on these, but I no longer can access them. Just wondering if anyone has similar issues.
Are there any transfer applicants for the AAS fall 2018??
@chunmich I am transferring from CUNY city tech to the Communication Design AAS fall 2018.
Does anyone get any messages? The waiting is killing me right now.
