my class search also change to just FALL 2017
has anyone officially been accepted yet?
Even though COA doesn’t show up at all for my daughter, FALL 2017 is indicated and accessible under Registration. Hoping this is encouraging. FIT is the last school we are waiting to hear from. Just heard about her admission into Parsons, but FIT is the one she really loves.
Everybody should keep in mind that we’re still on the earlier end of the spectrum to receive official acceptances or rejections. Many, many students won’t hear anything until after April 1 – I know that’s agonizing – but it is what it is. Also, I’m a harder applicant for most on here to compare themselves to, even transfers: I’m a nontraditional student, so I’ve already gotten a bachelor’s degree and made the Dean’s List numerous times in college. I’ve had the time to work for three different major retailers in my life already (American Eagle, PacSun, Dicks Sporting Goods), so that’s probably one of the reasons I’ve had my online portal updated so quickly, along with my COA. I doubt there’s too many similar applicants to me, so it’s easier to make a decision on an applicant like that, rather than juxtaposing high school students who have similar stats/life experiences. They probably have different applicant pools and the high school-to-college applicant pool has to be much larger, thus creating a longer wait.
I work for pacsun too right now! I work in the mall, I wrote that in my essay along with job offers from Calvin Klein and Abercrombie and woman’s section at Nordstrom
@livvygirl That’s awesome. Yeah, that always helps becuase it reiterates why you’re picking FIT, as well as expressing to them that you’ll be a good fit for the school and have interests that coincide with current and future students there. Obviously, they don’t expect you to be a CEO of your own startup company or anything, but taking the initiative to procure those jobs shows that you’re a bit of a self-starter, someone who knew what line of work and field they loved, long before you ever applied to FIT.
sometimes I’m really confident that I’m going to get in, even if i don’t i got accepted into lim but still, fit has been my dream school ill be crushed if i don’t get accepted

I feel the same sometimes Im super confident about getting in then I see that fit is super random and I get freaked out
I feel the same way @creepyandcute13 This forum is helping me deal a bit though. I feel that going to FIT is something that will transform my life. This will open so many doors for me to do what I love.
I really feel like fit is going to be late this year with admission decisions 
there doesnt even seem to be the “outstanding applicants” early acceptance emails going around either… i’m so nervous
Guess April 1st is firm this year…why this year of all years? lol

@Larriealumni I have a 3.1 gpa but recently, since I’m a senior, my gpa for my first semester was a 3.6, so It has gone up a lot and I applied for FBM
