I called this morning since last time I called was Monday, and asked if anything was sent out since I was told to call back today or Friday. I was told that letters could be going out today or tomorrow, but will go out before Friday. And some of us should have something the end of this week or beginning of next week. And was told to call back to check either Friday or Monday.
I called and she said decision hasn’t been made yet and still reviewing and will know something in one to two weeks. Wth guys 
if a decision hasn’t been made, hw am I suppose to receive anything this week. Also, when I called on Monday a guy answered and he said I should hear back this end of week or beginning of next week. I am confused. Any fashion design major applicants heard anything except for the international applicants?
@niffler I honestly don’t think fashion design has heard because the first time I called he told me that only started making decisions for fashion design last week. I was told a decision had been made for me, but they hadn’t sent the letter out.
@silverquotes Ok. When did you submit your portfolio? I submitted mine on Oct 25th. I just went back to the emails that they sent me during the application process and it said - “At this time, our records show that your application is complete and all materials submitted before the November 1 deadline. We ask for your continued patience as decision letters for Spring 2019 will begin being sent out on December 1.”
Do rejection letters tend to go out after Dec 1???
They said the same thing to me, this week or by early next week! I called them this morning
@niffler I had my portfolio in on October 16th, but my application was in on August 1st. @FAILURE2LIFE I believe rejection decisions were dated December 1st or December 5th. I believe still have the letter at home, so when I get home I’ll pull it out and find the date.
So that means that if you don’t hear any news from them by dec 1, you should expect a rejection…

When we call them , will they be able to see if we r rejected or accepted ? Or will they just see if a decision is made or not ?
@FAILURE2LIFE I think we should be find for now, my letter was dated around the 1st or 5th, but I do know I didn’t get it until December 9th. I’ll check my old letter when I get home in 30 mins. I know I got on the 9th because I got it after this party my family had last year.
Yeah and I told the woman I live in nyc and she said I could get it this week
I called today and they said my application is still being reviewed and that I’d be getting a decision in the next one to two weeks
So I tried to find my old letter, but didn’t find. I did find out when I got a waitlist letter in 2016, and it was December 8th. I just don’t know the date that was sent for 2016 or last year. I only found out about the waitlist since it’s the day I emailed them back to stay on the waitlist.
I went to Instagram and looked at #fitwelcome and looked at the recent posts section, apparently someone was waitlisted and now she got off of it and got accepted to the FBM major…they probably send out waitlists letter the same time as acceptances @silverquotes
