yeah im a little sad tbh…
is the COA supposed to be a different amount other than zero? for it to be an indication that ur accepted?
@nathekat @FAILURE2LIFE From all the past forums that I’ve researched usually cost of attendance correlates with acceptance, but of course nobody can 100% say it is true. And if your cost of attendance does not change don’t worry because sometimes it doesn’t even change or it can change after you get your letter.
also my cost of attendance hasn’t changed yet. It’s crazy that starting next week we could literally start finding out!!!
i guess its still a little early to know…we have 3 more weeks to see if anythings changes or not…but im starting to really worry cuz i submitted my stuff pretty early
Same, I think I’ll call next monday and ask if a decision has been made on my application.
ill probably call too…cuz if they said they have then that means it should change into a number and youll know in advance if you got in or not…good idea!!!
Do you know if your fafsa has been reviewed yet? mine hasn’t and I think its because I haven’t sent the verification papers yet. I’ve heard that is also a good sign.
i didnt receive verification papers cuz i submitted my fafsa so late…like Nov 9 and it says “hasnt been reviewed”
literally two days ago…
Hey guys where does it usually say that cost of acceptance is $0 ? Like how do you find that ?
go to “application status” and then click on “site map” on the top then there are links …click on the first one “overall status of financial aid”…then aid year …2018-2019…submit…and it should say COA
im thinking about sending fit an email…an update on my application…or should i just call?
Also do you guys think if your cost of attendance doesn’t say $0 it’s a bad thing or have people been accepted without the COA saying $0
im not sure…i guess we’ll never know until next week if they update it again, i sent them my fafsa quite late :(, maybe having nothing is a good sign; im already off to a bad start lol
True and when you say FASFA do you mean the basic applying for the 2018-2019 academic year. Or that letter FIT sent in the mail saying they need a few more documents and that the next time they’ll send a letter is after acceptance letters get sent out to remind us to complete it before starting
i meant applying for the 2018-2019 academic year…i submitted mine so late like Nov. 6** (not nov 9) and it was processed nov 7, i haven’t gotten a letter from FIT about needing a few more documents. I shouldve submitted it early
What exactly is the acceptance rate and does anyone know if they take enough students in the Spring session?
apparently in general the acceptance rate is about 41%, but I don’t know the acceptance rate per major. I’ve heard some people say it is easier to get accepted in spring because there is less people applying but at the same time there is also less spots. All we can do is hope for the best.
