Fit Test

I'm a female in the process of applying to the Naval Academy. I have 35 ACT and 4.0 GPA, was cleared medically, and have three nominations, one from both of my senators and one from my house rep (which is a principal). My application is 100% completed. I'm just worried about the fit test. Will these scores qualify me?
B-ball throw - 49 ft.
Flex-arm hang - 20 sec.
Shuttle - 9.6 sec
Crunches - 85
Push-ups - 35
Mile - 7 min 57 secs

I am not the expert but I have read up on the process quite a bit (including the averages which used to be published but aren’t any more). Your numbers are very, very similar to my DD, and generally above the averages, and she passed so I would think you must have too.

The only one I am not sure about is the Flex-arm hang. I know the average was 3 pull-ups but my DD did 1 that they didn’t count and she had to do the FAH. I don’t know how long she did but I would think 20 would be enough.

Since you are a principal nominee you only need to pass and I would guess that you did (your BGO can tell you. Have you asked them?).

You will most-likely be cleared, because those fit in with the average scores.
