I’m so glad I found this discussion!! I’m glad I’m not the only one counting down the minutes until that letter arrives. The earliest I’ve heard someone get an acceptance letter is St Patricks Day March 17. I applied to the AMC program back in October and received 2 financial aid pamphlets. I don’t think they have any bearing on if you got in or not. I live about an hour from the city so I’m guessing I just got mine quicker. I have a 3.5 GPA and an internship in NYC under my belt. I also took a precollege course at FIT for advertising and marketing communications this past Fall so hopefully, all of these things help my case! Did anyone else go over 700 words for their essay? I’m worried I made mine a little too lengthy. From what I heard at the open house, the essay and the classes you take in high school are VERY IMPORTANT! Also, who knows maybe I’ll meet a future roomie on here! Definitely want to live in Alumni hall!!
