five classes & community college courses

So senior year is coming up and I have planned to take 5 courses at school. I am really interested in taking AP psych but since my school doesn't offer it, I was thinking about taking it at a local community college. My question is, does it look okay for college admissions (esp. Ivy League schools) if I only take 5 classes at school but then 1 community college courses (like psych)?

On the other hand, if I took 5 classes at school, would that look okay? My only other option is to add TA as a 6th period (that's what I did last year). Does being a TA seem "lazy"? (because I TA for the adviser for the club that I am president in & so during that time I either help teach the class, grade papers, or work on club papers)

I think that whatever challenges you is perfectly fine. I’m only going to take 4 classes at school but add on 2 community college courses because there are certain subjects in school beyond which I’ve moved and because I have the opportunity to get out at noon! But the 4 classes are the only classes I could really take anyways without taking on something that I neither want nor need (though it would be fun to be a TA for one of my favorite teachers; now you have me thinking!!!) Anyways, you’ll be fine in my opinion. Just make sure that you’re doing ALL that you possibly can.

senior year by the way ^^^
