I'm a FL high school student. Going on my senior year, I of course, am starting to really think about colleges. I have FL pre-paid tuition and bright futures eligibility. I've always wanted to go to an Ivy League, but I'm just starting to wonder if it's even worth the stress to get into a very limited undergraduate program at a Harvard or Yale. Here's some stats.

Academics
SAT: 2140 (710 MATH, 630 READ, 800 WRI)
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 5.9 weighted (like that means anything anymore anyways)
AP's passed: APHG, APWH, AP Euro, AP Psych, AP Comp Gov, APES, AP Lang, APUSH
AP's next year: AP Macro, AP Calc AB, AP Physics, AP Spanish, AP Lit, AP US Gov
4 years of Spanish

2 in class of 500 as of now, may pull off valedictorian.

Extra Curriculars
NHS President as a junior, stepped down senior year to VP
Voted senior class president (big deal at my school - planner of virtually everything)
4 yrs. Varsity Girls Golf, 3 years captain. (Shoot high 40s, low 50s)
Varsity Soccer/Softball (1 year each)
Key Club, FBLA (3rd place in public speaking regionals), Spanish Honor Society
Community work has allowed me to win Anne Frank Humanitarian award
Athena Society Award for young women of promise

I want to major in international relations/affairs and go the government diplomacy route. Is it plausible for my social pro's to give me some sort of upper hand in Ivy acceptance to comp for the slightly lower SAT? Is it more appropriate to look to these schools for a graduates program and save money by going to a FL university? How comparable if UF and FSU. I understand that "UF is the best school in FL" but how appropriate is FSU for what I want to do?

Any input and info on bright futures, florida pre-paid, FSU, UF, etc. is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any info on study abroad programs at UF or FSU.

Thanks! I'm a newbie to this so bear with me!
