flagging scores

So I read on some thread that the CB flags your scores if you improve a lot.
I've never taken the SAT, but I took the PSAT and received a 198 (without prep).
I'm doing prep now, and there has already been substantial improvement in my scores (based on the blue book).
I'm taking the test in the fall, and I expect to do well...much better than my 198 would indicate.
Would they flag that? That just sounds weird to me that they need to flag someone's scores just because they worked hard and improved...

Some loser on yahoo answers said they investigate you for improving over 500 points. I lol’d.

That doesn’t make sense because if they did, what could they do? Cancel them… If so they would probably be sued. And lets say you cheated(which is nearly impossible) how could they prove that.

Lol this would be funny. I took the SAT in 7th grade and got like, ehh, 1600 or something like that. I fully expect 2100+ on the March SAT. That would be funny if they flagged me.

It`s not at all hard to cheat on the SAT, especially on the international one !

^I would agree with that. Every single person sitting around me had the exact same sections as me. I only noticed one person in the back who had sections different than mine.

How could they acquire proof of you cheating? Does improving one’s score substantially indicate cheating? Not necessarily…

a lot of people go to the bathroom during break, look up vocab words, and then change their CR answers…lol cheatable
