<p>I was accepted to FGCU recently, so I was looking for ways to help pay for it. Does anyone know the exact requirements for Bright Futures? Even if it is just a little bit of money, I will be happy.</p>
<p>I have a 2.59 GPA and a 23 on the ACT. Is that good enough to qualify for anything?</p>
<p>I’m not sure, but from briefly looking at the florida bright futures web site, it looks like a minimum 3.0 GPA is required for eligibility for any of the programs. But anther site just references ACT scores. </p>

<p>^^that’s the site I was looking at. It looks like the minimum GPA for the Florida Medallion Scholars (FMS) Award is 3.0 (but it is weighted and includes only certain core classes). While the minimum GPA for Florida Academic Scholars Award is a 3.5 weighted.</p>
