<p>Bright Futures sent out emails on 3/17 and 3/19, but D did not receive hers. Their site is <a href="http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/SSFAD/home/uamain.htm%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/SSFAD/home/uamain.htm&lt;/a> and your student can log in and check their status. Near the bottom of the page it lists correspondence it has had with your student. D's lists an email 3/17 and 3/19. Others report they received emails this past week. </p>

<p>The email D should have received was 7IEELIG/M "INITIAL FMS AWARD LETTER MID-YEAR" for 3/17 and LTCHKSTAT100032 "Student check status letter" for 3/19 based on her status page. Could anyone who received emails as of 3/17 and 3/19 share their contents here? Thanks</p>

<p>Are you sure they sent an email out? Neither I nor any of my friends got emails from BF.</p>

<p>On the FSU page, several have reported getting emails this past week about their BF status. Did any of you sign into your BF page to see if there was email correspondence listed as sent to you?</p>

<p>I just checked mine and the only correspondence it lists is the confirmation email they sent from January . . . has anyone else checked with the same result?</p>

<p>Emails did go out to many students on 3/17 and 3/19 with info on eligibility after receipt of 7th semester grades from High Schools.</p>

<p>If you go here, click on application status and award history, have your student sign in (you can click to get ID and Password if you don’t have it) and go to awards. Scroll down and see the list of communications. If it shows you were sent and email on your BF status on 3/17 and you did not get it, or if it shows you were sent an email on 3/19 about signing on to check your status and you did not get that one, email them at <a href="mailto:OSFA@FLDOE.org">OSFA@FLDOE.org</a> and tell them you did not receive it. They will send you a hard copy of your letter THIS ONE TIME. But I think they need to hear that some students are not getting their emails–filters I guess. Ours was not even in the spam folder. </p>

<p>I emailed and did get a response back that D should add them to her address book, and that they would send a hard copy this one time.</p>

<p>I checked today with my guidance counselor, and it seems that they have started releasing decisions. She said that she got the list of accepted students, but did not mention anything about emails. She then checked my status and proceeded to tell me that I got the Academic Scholarship (8D). Have your daughter check with her guidance counselor tomorrow about her status. You may have better luck that way.</p>

<p>Thanks Cel. She checked her status and she got the Medallion, as expected. Emails have started going out to those who had listed emails, and hard copies to those who did not. But many emails did not reach their destination. Just a heads up.</p>
