Florida Colleges, my chances?

hey guys Im in my 3rd semester of community college I have 18 - 28 credit hours, gap is 2.33 and I'm looking to transfer to usf as a lower level student, my hs gpa was 2.90 I was in a couple clubs and such. What will usf Tampa look at more heavily? Cc gpa or hs gpa? What what are my chances of getting accepted do you think? I want to apply for next fall, 2012. Please chance me! And thanks.

Take a look at Flagler College in St Augustine.

It is a hidden gem.

I know it’s low… But I’m working on it, I’m hoping to get around a 3.0 maybe 2.80? Is that even good? Or okay?

so no hope at all?

You will not get into USF with that GPA, and you also don’t give your SAT/ACT scores, which means predicting your chances is impossible. Yes, a 3.0 would better your chances.
I think that you should look at doing community college for a year or two and then transferring. You obviously care about your education and your future, so stand out in that pool/do really well, and you would definitely get into USF, or even FSU and UF.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Give it a shot!
