Florida Gulf Coast University

I searched around on this site for some info, but I was still wondering if anyone knew much about Florida Gulf Coast University. I was rejected at HYP, Columbia, Vandy, MIT, Waitlisted at Duke and Cornell, and accepted into GWU, BU, and JHU. But i can't pay for any of those.

And here are some of my stats:
GPA: around 3.96 UW, 4.5ish W
SAT: 770R, 740M, 730W
ACT: 32
Hardest classes available (10 AP total - so far four 5's, one 4, one 3)
Rank: 4 of 80ish

And a list of a few extracurriculars

It might be a step down from what I was looking for, but is Florida Gulf Coast University any good? (FGCU because its cheaper than the rest and its still accepting applications! XP)

thank ya

Oh, change of question. Sorry about that. If I went to a Community College for 2 years and got an AA, then transferred to a local 4 year institution, would I start as a junior, as I presume?

There are a lot good schools still accepting applications. You might want to apply to some of them instead of CC.

I think your grades are good enough to get some scholarship money from some of these schools.
