Tebow does sound like a great guy. He's actually the reason I became a Gators fan. I would have applied anyway, but I hated their sports because of people like Joakim Noah. But Tebow is the redeeming athlete that it took for me. Not to mention, I'm homeschooled... and so was he. So I kinda have to cheer for him lol.

Another admirable football player at a Florida school is Myron Rolle, Rhodes Scholar/Student Athlete. He plays for FSU though. He wants to make his millions as a neurosurgeon.

Probably the best testament to Joakim Noah's personality:

In his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls, his teammates voted unanimously for him to be benched after he verbally abused one of the assistant coaches. Once the game passed, there was another unanimous vote to bench Noah because they felt that he hadn't learned his lesson. This was unprecedented in the NBA

I hope Tebow and Rolle go on to have stellar NFL careers, hopefully with my hometown pro team. But Tebow is gonna be long gone by the time the Vikings pick. Rolle hopefully might still be on the board.

^ Wait... you're a Vikings fan? So am I! I would be overjoyed if they got Tebow. But i didn't know that Rolle was going pro. I knew he was good, but I thought he'd go on to pursue his academic/career goals. Neurosurgeon, right? Anyway, I wish both of them the best. They're two outstanding athletes and people.

And I know I've said it before, but I hate Joakim Noah.

No, Rolle will continue going to school because he received the Rhodes Scholarship, and last time I checked you don't pass that up. I think he is a junior in his second year at FSU , something like that.

AT9: yup, bleeding purple. until the spring that is, when i start bleeding twins blue. so yeah, will the vikes still try to see if favre looks good in purple after such a sad finish in the afc playoff race :)

josh5: yeah, rolle should go back to FSU for now. Rhodes... wow. the only reason i might have thought he would be in the draft was this:
