Florida State Limiting Enrollment?

<p>FSU grows to 40,000 students - but looks for more graduate students.</p>

<p>From the Tallahassee Democrat: </p>

<p>'Florida State University rose modestly from 39,000 to 40,000 students, with a 6,200 freshman class that isn't its biggest ever and most growth coming at the graduate level.</p>

<p>Purposely putting a lid on undergraduate expansion, FSU is focusing on its "Pathways to Excellence" plan to enhance its status as a major research university.</p>

<p>FSU, with that purpose in mind, will hire more clusters of eminent scholars this fall.'</p>
