Live in PA and looking at Florida State but would need scholarship money to go. What are the requirements for the Out-Of-State Tuition Waiver (Full and Partial) or how likely would I be to get it, given a 1740 SAT (680 M, 550 CR, 510 W) and a 3.45 unweighted GPA (4.24 weighted)? Any response appreciated
Their website is very vague…in terms of this OOS tuition waiver. You are considered for the scholarships that have it based on the strength of your application. Clearly states…numbers are limited.
The sure thing requirement…have your family move to Florida at least 12 months before you plan to enroll. Otherwise you will be considered a resident of Pennsylvania…and will not be guaranteed instate status at a Florida public university.
Can you retake the SAT and I orove that CR/Math composite score? Any chance this year and next willbe very strong for you in HS? Like mostly A’s?
