how r we gonna know the decision on Wednesday? by email or letter in the mail?

You'll know online by Wednesday, I'm sure it'll take acouple of days for the letter.

It'll be up at midnight. If you're seriously considering going to FSU (and want decent on-campus housing!) I'd advise logging onto housing the minute midnight hits and putting down a few bucks for a great priority number. It'll also be easier to check to see if you're accepted via housing as it will be slightly less bombarded than the application portal (which wouldn't let me on till maybe half an hour later.) I'm sooo thankful I have a good priority number thanks to CC!!

^Correct. Do as Yau did. You'll be glad you did later. ;)

Is it only about getting the priority number? No one actually chooses the hall of their preference, correct?

On the dorm application you choose the hall or roommate preference or learning community and you can change the form right up to near the time assignments are made. The important thing is the priority number.

The admission decisions will definitely be up at midnight?

Thanks for the advice on housing; I'll definitely be doing that.

Is this for early decision?

No... none of Florida's state schools offer that anymore.

This is just if you turned in your application by October 15th.

so, what does it state if you are not accepted - - rejected?? Sounds so harsh.

i don't think they would say rejected. something more like "after careful review of your application, we are unable to grant you admission at this time".

hopefully none of you see language like that when you login and you all can join the Nole family. it really is a great community of folks. nothing like being at an fsu football game and sharing that common bond with 80,000 plus Nole fans.

like most large universities, FSU has much to offer to its students. What I think really sets FSU apart, is the strong sense of community that is shared by parents, students and the school administration. we were really suprised how helpful and caring the administrative staff is at such a large school.

Good Luck to the class of 2013! I hope you all get accepted.
