Florida State University

Alright, so I am currently a junior in high school. I have a 4.92 on a 5.0 GPA scale, which is eqivalent to a 3.94 on a 4.0 GPA scale; I am also a member of National Honor Society. I have already taken well over the amount/type of required classes to be admitted, and including the classes I am taking this year, 10 of my 23 total classes throughout high school have been honors, advanced, or advanced placement courses. I have taken the ACT once and I got a composite score of 28, which I intend on raising by taking the ACT at least twice more. I was in my school theater program for 2 years and I was on the varsity tennis team for 3 years. I am also in various extracurricular clubs that work on doing volunteer work in my community, and I regularly do things like going on mission trips with my church. Do you think that I have a chance of getting accepted into Florida State University?

@2189 - preliminaries look good as far as GPA and what you mention, rigor of class schedule through Senior year matters more than many think (you still need the grades and test scores)…ACT could be higher but FSU does Superscore, so take it at least two more times. I would also recommend taking the SAT just to see if pull something crazy out, you don’t have to submit it if it’s low. Are you taking AP calc?
