My son is there now in his first year and loves it. FIT was his first choice for last year, since he was interested in Aviation (which is one of a top ranking majors at FIT). FIT was about top 14 in technology at least I remembered from 2005 FISKE. They have a very decent program for all engineering degrees. Are you being accepted? Or are you just looking for the ranking?</p>

<p>I am currently a junior, and a went and visited the college.... toured the campus, flew up in a little 4 seater, and toured the town... loved it.</p>
<p>The only negative thing I have seen so far is that a lot of people haven't heard of it! And even though I Dont take too much stock in rankings, it isn't on many of the engineering rankings(I want to do either aerospace or mechanical).</p>
<p>Florida Tech is an awesome school.....excellent engineering.not the MIT calibre but not bad either,and most pple get into NASA,United Space Alliance,and Boeing,an Microsoft.passed up an awesome opportunity to go there coz of lack of finances,but will be applying there for grad school</p>
