flower delivery

hey guys,

I can't spend Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and thus wanted to buy flowers in a online shop for her.
So I was wondering if you guys know any good flower delivery shop and additionally give me some advice to what I have to pay attention.

I would just look online for local flower shops and call them.

Only get her odd numbers of flowers.

Is there any deeper meaning behind this advice? =P

1800flowers.com is pretty good. My parents sent me birthday flowers from them :)

Even numbers of flowers are for deaths and funerals.

^ Really? I never knew that. Well I'll keep that in mind too because I'm in the exact same situation with my girlfriend.

I used TeleFlora in the past numerous times with good results.

I always use 1800flowers.com and it has always worked out for me.

What does this say about the whole 'a dozen red roses' idea?

^The divorce rate in the United States is something like 50%, isn't it? A dozen red roses is sending death to the relationship. Get the bakers dozen.
