^^^^

Hahahahah!

omg lmao ---

LOlz. so true.

anyone for real, please?

sociology and anything with "studies"

semi-fluff::

psychology, philosophy, anthropology

is economics considered a fluff major?

A philosophy major is going to have to do a lot of mental work in his college career, and a Berkeley psychology major has to work hard enough to get admitted to the impacted major in the first place. So I wouldnt even call those semi-fluff.

Economics is definitely not a fluff major.

Janitorial Engineering
Basket Manufacturing Studies

Ok. This whole "fluff" major thing kind of irks me off. I don't care what you major in, it will be easy for some people and hard for others. Can you see Paris Hilton graduating with honors with a Janitorial Engineering degree? And you can call it fluffy, but how good are you at clinical psychology? We can't all be HAAS and EECS students... and I bet the HAAS and EECS majors don't have the foreign language skills that a Linguistics major has. NO ONE is good at everything. And the people who look down on "fluff" majors are just hiding behind a pillar of arrogance. I might be amazing with calculus, but I have to admit, that high school graduate who works at McDonald's can deep fry better than I can. So before you look at someone and call them/their intellectual persuit (or lack thereof)/their occupation "fluffy" or easy, walk a mile in their shoes. We can't all be engineers.

Just because something has "studies" in doesn't mean it is a fluff.

To some, rhetoric might be considered a "fluff" major but that is contrary to belief. Anybody who has studied rhetoric knows that rhetoric isn't fluff. (it's my possible second major :) )

moreforyour$'s comment was LMAO.

Political Science...

...yes, berkeley may be a center of political thought, but the major......its so easy. most people double major with political science because its just like that...you might not excell, but you can get through polisci without trying too hard...

Really, political science is a fluff major?

I love politics, especially constitutional law, but I didn't think that would be a fluff major.

you really think it's a fluff major? berkeley's poli sci dept is ranked second in the world.

I don't think so, but according to stryet, it's easy.

all this talk about fluff majors needs to die

we need american studies majors just as much as we need engineering majors, live with it! >.<

mass communications is a sorority major
