Flute pieces for College Supplements!

The Berkeley special talents program lets us send in supplements to go with our application, and I have...6 days to record and submit. Problem is, I don't know what they're looking for. Should I just play a fast piece and a slow piece? Some scales...? I have several pieces on hand...mostly French and classical pieces.

No specific suggestions, but I would choose the highest level piece that you can play as close to perfectly as possible rather than attempt a more advanced piece that you have issues with.

You may wish to pick two pieces of contrasting styles as well. This tends to be the norm in audition rep for prescreening, festival/program and college auditions.

Good luck.

Ah yes, I have some challenging pieces on hand because I used to do a lot of competitions, so I think I'll just record those.
