Fluxuating grades

How do most colleges feel about bad grades the progressively get better, but the cumiulative GPA still seems bad. Even if Jr. and Sr. year are 3.9/4.0 w/ honors and AP classes?

They look for trends also........ if the curve shows a positive deviation it is gud but if not.......ure in trouble.........

Also there is no most college feel abt factor..... what harvard sees bad may be excelent to someone else......

From what others have said, I think most colleges love upward trends (which is great for me, and you too I'm guessing Yort). I hope things turn out well come time for admissions.

Thanks! my trends arent a complete positive trend,
freshman 3.4
sophmore 3.1
Junior 3.7
Senior (so far) 3.85

i guess this is kinda the same thing... i hope all hope is not lost.

You'll be fine. I did awesome freshman year (3.9, damn), and completely dropped sophomore year, but have picked back up both jr./sr. year. Colleges like to see the up trend. An interview would help let you explain why that drop happened (if there's a good reason for it).
