Hey guys, planning on taking some virtual school classes. I was thinking of AP Micro this semester so I could take the AP exam in May? Yes or no?
Also, any other classes in mind that are easy?

Sure, sounds like a great idea, if you’re interested in the subject and you don’t mind the online format.

So your school goes on a four per semester block scheduling and you’re taking a fifth via online? I’ve been doing this ever since I learned about NCVPS. So lately I’ve been taking about five AP courses per semester. Insane? Yes. A good method to challenge yourself? Yes. So if you don’t mind working for several hours, do whatever you fancy.

My opinion -
FLVS classes are jokes – full of busywork. However, they prepare you enough (generally) to get a 5 on the relevant AP, assuming that you completed your work genuinely as opposed to raw BS. Honestly, I feel that the courses, especially if for enrichment are unnecessarily large time sinks. It can be annoying to have to do Discussion-Based Assessments constantly and having to submit 100+ assignments for a course.

Guys can someone PLEASE answer my question. I am planning on taking eng.2 over the summer (Because I know I should be in a higher level english class). Do any of you have experience with it? if so what is the courseload like?

@Ach yes, four core classes. If that was what you were asking me about.

@Signature thank you, I feel even more confident on taking on this course. I also heard re-submission was available for every class assignment and even tests! If this a myth?

Also for anyone, I was considering Spanish III so I could be placed into AP Spanish sometime. ( A fluent Spanish speaker. )

@DHill , I personally don’t have experience with it, but I heard the course load was massive. Not sure if this answers your question.

FLVS is pretty amazing, at least in my experience - The teachers were nicer than a lot of the ones I have at my real school. Just make sure you use your time wisely and don’t procrastinate too hard and you’ll be fine.

Oh, and to your other question. There are a ton of easy classes. Driver’s Ed, Critical thinking, psychology, ect… List goes on and on :)

Can doing easy electives on FLVS raise my unweighted?
