FLVS Questions (Pre-Calc/AP Micro)

I'm currently taking Algebra 2 in high school, but I'd like to get a year ahead in mathematics. My plan is to take Pre-Calc over the summer on FLVS. My questions are:
1. Is it even possible to complete Pre-Calc over the summer?
2. How many assignments would I have to complete per week to finish by the end of summer?

Additionally, I'd like to take AP Microeconomics online this year. FLVS lists the average completion time at around 16 weeks, so I should be able to finish it by the beginning of April if I start soon and keep pace. My questions are:
3. How difficult is AP Microeconomics on FLVS?
4. Does the course adequately prepare you for the AP exam?

Note: I go to a Florida high school, so the courses are free for me.

B to the U to the M to the P.
Any reply would be appreciated!

Friend did Pre Clac in 2 weeks. Not sure how many assignments

AP micro isn’t hard, and i haven’t taken the exam yet so i cannot answer tha tpart

@Weeknd
Are you taking AP Micro online? If so, how many total assignments are there and do you think I’ll be able to finish before the AP exam if I start sometime this week?

Edit: Are there any prerequisites for AP Micro? There aren’t any “official” ones, but what background knowledge should I have?

I’ll just bypass the technical stuff to save time (i.e looking up the actual number)There aren’t that many as it is only 1 semester course. There are no prerequisites that i know of

You could finish in a month if you really worked tbh, its not a lot. The ONLY place where you could run into trouble is fitting it into your schedule every week , since flvs requires 3 assignments per week to stay in the course.

Fitting it into my schedule shouldn’t be too difficult, as I’m a freshman and only taking two AP classes, bio and human geo. The upcoming break (9 MORE DAYS!!!) will also help.

Did your friend go on to take AP Calculus or Calculus Honors/Regular?
Does it matter that I haven’t taken AP Macro yet?

Just do Pre-Cal over the summer at a CC
You’ll have more than enough time

@Korcha
Could you elaborate?

If your counselor allows it, you could take PreCal over the summer at a Community College, most of which accepted concurrent high schoolers, and then take AP Cal your following school year.
I knew a junior who did that so he could take AP Stats his senior year.

Can anyone help me with AP Microeconomics in flvs? :slight_smile:
