FML should I retake any subject tests?

770 lit
730 us history
800 math II
740 physics

I'm aiming high in terms of colleges ie:hpysm but don't know if these scores can take me there.. My SAT I was 2200 (790 math, 750 reading, 660 writing <<faiiilll) and my ACT score was a 36..

I know college admission is about a lot more than just standardized tests but are these scores acceptable/strong/weak by ivy/top 5 standards or do I need to retake them?

I’d say with the 770 Lit, 800 Math II, 740 Physics, you’re fine.

haha thanks

Sorry to hijack, but if you have like 5 Subject tests in your Organizer, will Colleges only look at your top 3? or do I have to specify which ones I want them to see…

You can use score choice to send only the top three… or whichever one’s you want. Although I don’t think it hurts to send them all unless you got like <600 or something on one of them.

How do I know which colleges have opted out of score choice?

I’m pretty sure colleges cannot “opt out” of score choice, but if you don’t know, just call their admissions office/check out their website.

You have to look at their website, usually on the test requirement page. For example, on CMU’s site ([Admission Requirements](<a href=“Home - Computing Services - Office of the CIO - Carnegie Mellon University”>Home - Computing Services - Office of the CIO - Carnegie Mellon University)) it says * Please send all of your official SAT, SAT Subject II, ACT and TOEFL scores to the Office of Admission. That’s kind of ambiguous iunfortunately but I emailed them and they do indeed require all.

Shut up and be happy with those great scores. As for your SAT score, I’d say retake and aim for a 2250+ score and try to bring that writing to a 700+ score range.

one thing that REALLY annoys me is when people misuse the acronym “■■■”. if you scored >700 on everything, you DO NOT have a ****ty life. it’s really disrespectful to people who did worse than you as well.

I wouldn’t even retake your SAT I, since you have a 36 on the ACT.

It’d be a huge waste of your time and money, lol.

Your scores are great! This is far from a ■■■ scenario.

I agree with all those people saying you misuse “■■■.”
No offense, but you obviously just want praise and attention for your scores.
We get it, you’re smart.
So good job.
