Hi. You know how we have to write anywhere from three to five essays per college app..? Do you think that it would be better to concentrate all of them on one area you're extremely passionate about, or would it be better to say, concentrate two on your "primary" activity, and then have the other three concentrate on other things that you're interested about, so you can look like a versatile student and person?
I've read conflicting messages about this, and I was interested in what the genereal consensus was. Thank you!

Personally, I would do two on your primary and 3 on other things because this way the admissions committees sees more of an overall person instead of just one side of you. You want to tell the committee as much about yourself as you can, and by concentrating only on one thing may not do that.

Thank you for your help! Is it alright if I write about my interests rather than my actual activities, though?

i agree w/ biyanka

Ugh.. i've written four of my essays, and all of them pretty much relate to science.... =/ luckily they're only short response. I should do my long essay on something else, right...
