Hey everyone,

I'm applying for the FOCUS program since I've heard a great deal of good things, but I also know that there are good clusters and not-so-excellent clusters. As a neuroscience major, I became instantly attached to clusters related to the mind, but I am more interested in the biology more than in policy or ethics.

I have chosen:
1) Cognitive Neuroscience and Law - Profs. Edna Andrews & Michael Newcity
2) Exploring the Mind - Profs. William C. Hall & Owen Flanagan
3) Genomes in Our Lives - Profs. Huntington Willard & Susanne Haga
4) Global Health - Profs. Sherryl Broverman & Catherine Admay

However, I have heard that the genomics cluster is very interesting, and have read nothing about the cognitive neuroscience and law cluster. Does anyone know about my top three choices and can elucidate on what are the advantages of each one? To be honest, I'd be happy to join any cluster, but I'd rather learn more about the professors/courses before I apply.

Also, for genomics, it says that I only need one or two sentences for explaining each of my top two choices. Does this mean that I don't need a 400-word essay?
