Focused ECs vs. Spread Out ECs?

Hi, my current ECs are as follows: Marching Band, Speech and Debate, Mock Trial (treasurer), tutoring, cello, NHS, Service Learning Club, Key Club, Interact Club, Tennis (we didn't have varsity/JV), possibly FBLA and Principal's Advisory Council.

I am terrible at sports, so I quit tennis but may do bowling.

I'm, as you can tell, interested in social sciences field, but I feel that my ECs are too narrow-focused, so I'm thinking perhaps I should join the Science Olympiad (our school's team is excellent, so I feel uneasy joining just for the heck of it).

But I don't even know if it's worth it to add another EC to build up my resume -- don't get me wrong, I do enjoy learning about science although it definitely isn't my strong field. It's just that it would be a lot of commitment, and as I said, I'm not very good at it so I don't want to be a burden on the team.

I don't know, do you think my ECs are fine as long as I get some awards and leadership positions with it?

Bump due to desperation :(

I really don’t see any problem with your EC’s, and can’t justify you joining the Science Olympiad. Don’t join clubs just to pad your resume! Instead put the extra time on the clubs you’re already in.

it’s better to focus on an area you have a passion for rather than half-heartedly joinging all sorts of clubs.
