<p>Well as everybody right now is doing, what would you think of this as an EC or Hook</p>

<p>Me and my friend have crreated a band. The difference is that the only material we only use is a macbook, a cell phone, and a guitar with distorted sound. We started since our sophomore year (currently a senior) and we actually won a few awards from art shows. So this might be unique. No?</p>

<p>it's not necessarily a hook, but it is a very creative EC that reflects your interests (winning awards in it never hurts either). You could possibly make it into a great essay, or just list it as one of your out of school activities.</p>
