Food at CAL

How good is it? I need good food to study.

I can't really comment from experience on the cafeteria food but I've heard it's decent. The off campus food options, though, are terrific.

You are the second to tell me that... but no one ever talks about a certain restaurant in particular.

what food do you have in mind? It's kind of hard to pick just one because there are so many restaurants in berkeley, and it really depends on your taste. I specifically recommend cheese n stuff, where you can get awesome sandwiches for $3

More or less anywhere on Durant or Telegraph or similar places = heaven. Great asian food on Durant, great pizza at Cheeseboard/other place, Top Dog has great, afforable bratwurst/hotdog/etc., and <mexican place="" i="" forgot="" the="" name="" of,="" but="" likes="" to="" hang="" "voted="" best="" burrito="" in="" berkeley"="" outside="" of="" it=""> has a great burrito and if you order the Torpedo size, has enough to feed a family in a developing nation for a week.</mexican>

Campus food from when some of my friends smuggled me into the dining hall was decent, but you get spoiled by the off-campus food.

Thanks bros!

La burrita is good. The Patio has a sandwich called the beast that is so good it hurts. Blondies has good slices. Naan N' Curry is pretty good, but there's a cheaper, better place down a few blocks on Telegraph. Cafe intermezzo is good but crowded and a tad overrated. Raleigh's has awesome onion rings and shuffle board. Those are all within about three blocks. I could go on for days about all the food in Berkeley.
