Hey everyone,
I may go to Simon’s Rock in 2018, and I hear that the food is horrendous. However, I love to cook, and am curious about the availability of cooking supplies (fresh food and ovens, pots, pans).

My daughter’s there, and says the food is fine. It does get repetitive after awhile, but the dining hall staff is great and really does try hard to make it a great experience. I don’t know about all the dorms, but the one my daughter was in had a kitchen on her floor. You’d probably want to bring your own utensils, pans, etc. There is a shuttle to the grocery store that runs most days. The only problem is I think you’ll still have to pay for the meal plan.
My recommendation is to go visit and see for yourself.
