I know it seems as if the first round was overwhelmingly accepted and subsequent rounds will be waitlist/rejects, but I think it's grand time we all just take a deep breath.

Look, you're on College Confidential. The wide majority of the people that will bother to post in the decisions thread are likely those who got in. Imagine you got rejected while seemingly everybody else got in -- how's that for a prerogative to post? Consider that, plus most of the kids on here are likely those who will get in, and you start to breed a very different image of what could be going on.

It's clear that they're posting in waves. Get on with yourselves, your wave will come soon enough.

In less than a couple days, you'll figure out whether or not you got in. In less than a couple days, some blank line will mean nothing to you. In less than a couple days, getting "iN" magazine probably won't be that big of a deal. A couple of days is nothing to sweat over. You're going to find out, so why don't we all relax?

very thoughtful post. all these conspiracies are getting kinda ridiculous. this is what happens when you get a bunch of bored/intelligent students trying to break a "code."

My main point here is that College Confidential represents a very, very small percentage of the people who actually applied. Trying to verify any assumptions off of what others post is, quite frankly, an exercise in futility.

I know that everyone is looking for companionship while applying, but these posts are just silly.
