Food -- off/on campus

For current Cornell students (or people familar with Ithaca): where are some good places to eat on and off campus -- and for a decent price?

Also, I know Cornell is suppose to have great food, but is there dining hall that simply surpasses the rest?

The terrace or trillium are really good, theyre an a-la-carte places in Statler and Kennedy respectively (only open for lunch). The best dining hall for all-you-can eat is arguably at Robert Purcell Community Center.. Appel commons is pretty good too.
For good restaurants: John Thomas (great steakhouse), The Heights Bar and Grill, Willow.
In collegetown there are plenty of quick places, including sushi, chinese, pizza, subs, greek.. if youre looking for a good breakfast stop at College Town Bagels. Ruloff's has pretty good food all day, the nines has really good deep dish pizza.

I second jcas323's recommendations.

Also, I'm a fan of Aladdin's in Collegetown for mediteranean, and priced pretty reasonably.

The nines has great pizza, and I remember Ruloff's having good sweet potatoe fries.

I've heard Madellines (spelling?) on the commons is really good, but pricey.

I concur with the above recommendations. The only negative I see with the Collegetown food is there is no quick burger joint in the area...Ruloff's has burgers but it's a sit down place. It doesn't necessarily need to be a chain fast food restaurant, but a place to pick up a quick burger and fries would be nice.
