Food Science Majors?

<p>I am contemplating going into Food Science, and I was wondering if anyone could give me more info/ insight on the program/major? I’m a freshman undeclared major hoping to switch soon, but i didn’t get any FST-related classes (NUT10) for fall quarter. How hard is it to get those classes?</p>

<p>Also, I’m just curious, but how do others think of food science majors? I hear its a pretty easy major. I find it interesting but i don’t want others to think I’m majoring in it just cause its “easy.”</p>

<p>And is it a common major? At orientation, i couldn’t find a single person who was a food science major, but maybe i just wasn’t looking hard enough.</p>

<p>It’s pretty common i have met a lot of them. The classes are reserved for food science majors only I think.</p>
