<p>If you want to get in, choose soil science. What you kids don’t realize is how hard the classes in these majors actually are, and you are forced to take coursework involving your major every quarter. So have fun taking classes like FRSC132: Pomology. Also have fun trying to switch majors under the new Cal Poly system… Basically impossible, classes are reserved for majors only. KOOK</p>
<p>I plan on becoming a nutritionist so its not like I’m going in hoping to switch to engineering or business, calm down.</p>
<p>There probably isn’t much of a difference…food science seems to make more sense for your career aspirations, i’d just go with that.</p>
<p>Why don’t you choose nutrition as a major then?</p>
