hey,
Does anybody here know anything about the food science program at Purdue, for example as compared to other universities like Rutgers or washington state university.

wow - nobody wants to share their opinion?

Thats interesting, considering purdue prob has the most undergrad students for tht major.

If people don’t post, wouldn’t you think that people don’t know?

i have never met anyone with that major, therefore that’s why i haven’t posted. it’s a pretty small major here, i just looked on the website and it says there are only 130 undergrads…and there’s 30,000+ people on campus. so finding someone on this website that knows anything about food science here at purdue is prettyy unlikely. i also just looked at the plan of study, and it’s pretty intense…which probably accounts for the small amount of undergrads pursuing the major. other than that, i can’t tell you anything else about it or compare it to other universities. i assume it’s probably not a very popular major at most universities, however, you can easily research the universities websites to compare.
