I ate the stir fry for lunch/earlydinner. It was so-so. I think I'll try the sandwich next time.

is anyone staying on track with the dining plan, cause it only allows for us to spend about 7 bucks a day, so i think i'm gonna run out before school ends.

I am using a lot less than "should." If I use my dining dollars, I use it for one meal, and that's usually only $4-$5.

I've been eating off-campus too much so I've only used like $45 since school started

You can use your extra dining dollars to buy stuff at Earl's Place (albeit at grossly inflated prices).

where can i get some clam chowder on weekends

CV has clam chowder. I don't know about the weekends though.

overall they all serve pretty much the same stuff though...lately cv has had many variations of chicken...chicken parmesan, fried chicken, and grilled chicken with pesto sauce today...

get carne salada fries and nachos at El Mercado in Muir =]

-for jamba juice style smoothies go to Muir and pick #4 bananna pineapple

-for coldstone style ice cream, go to muir and pick vanilla with two toppings: pineapple and marshmellow for only $2.50 !!

-for subway sandwiches, go to muir and pick pastrami with crissorant with everything on it..

Dude, I think EVERYONE needs to try this sandwich combo at Sierra Summit.

Turkey in faccacia bread, cilantro garlic mayo sauce (on both slices of bread), pepper jack cheese, and all veggies (well, take out whatever you don't like; I don't put onion and spinach, yeck). It is orgasmic.

Be sure to get it on a good day, when the bread is all nice and soft and the turkey is warm, or else you get a not-so-good sandwich.

Pina Collida or whatnot (screw that spelling) is pretty good too at Muir's Sierra Summit's Smoothie shop. I always stick to the Strawberry Oasis and Mango Beach though. Only 90 calories, FTW! :)

The reese's peanut butter microblast at Sierra Summit is pretty awesome too. drool I think I'll have one after my midterms next next week.....

I personally like the onion roll better than the foccacia, and I would add avocado to that sandwich, but I don't put onions in my sandwich either. The onion roll is tasty enough, and raw onions are too strong. But basically, the cilantro garlic mayo makes everything amazing.

Amen to that cilantro garlic mayo. What am I going to do for the rest of my life without cilantro garlic mayo after I graduate from UCSD?!

hahaha i work there and ive made the icecream/ smoothies/ and sandwiches!! hahahaha its fun making it for people!!! =) hahaha ill stuff the garlic mayo in my jean pockets and give it to you syneria so you can start saving it up so you can have some when you gradaute!! LOL
=P

i discovered the garlic mayo today and it was AMAZING.

Gracie? What do you look like? I usually only go to Summit when Jenn is cash.

garlic mayo is glorious. the viking lady that works the sandwhich station is funny, you know who i'm talkin' about.

hey, i know jenn

:) I love the viking lady! She's so nice! She always give me extra generous slabs of garlic mayo and she makes my sandwich extra yummy.

Haha, Gracie? :] I'll start looking for you everytime I go for a sandwich (which is everyday).

Sad week though; I'm really sick so I've been advised to avoid most normal food and eat porridge. :( No sandwich for me. cry
