foolish me

i once had hopes in the top tier schools. but since my MIT and Stanford (SCEA) rejections i've lost the ability to dream. the decisions tomorrow seem so anticlimatic.

i'm going to spend the next four years of my life at Berkeley as a robot without feelings or aspirations.

What's wrong with Berkeley?

Berkeley was my safety. the symbol of mediocrity.

Wow. I know some pretty freaking amazing people and some really great programs at Berkeley. It's a consistently top ranked school, and may be one of the single best public universities in the US. No, it's not an expensive Ivy, but it's not teh suck, either.

I think Berkeley's a great school for anyone to get into...and how do you expect to get into a "better" one with an attitude like that?

im dying to go to to berkeley....i am dying to see what happen the letter says in 17 hrs...adn here you are, who got accepted, whining about berkeley...please just call berkeley and just give me the spot....i ACTUALLY WOULD LOVE TO GO THERE

if i could, i would give you my spot BestMiler. you seem to want it more than me

i have wanted since freshmen year.......my chances are so slim especially since im from oos...and man I would choose Berkeley over harvard...thats how much i want it

BestMiler i hope all goes well for you.

but "you'll do well wherever you go". <--- overly used cliche by adults

ty....and i hope all goes well for you too

oh wow thanks for patronizing me Re en Kam. mr. Upenn

I wasn't patronizing you. I just think that UC Berkeley's a great school and I would have been happy to get in there. It's just strange that you're calling it mediocre...and a safety.

i too have been foolish. I just got waitlisted at Northwestern. what made me think i could get into good schools??? what?

God, this education system has created such sad lives. lighten up bro.
