Home games are great but one of my buds wants to get me out there for a road game for a mini-road trip. Kinda planning to do this at a few different schools (at least the big football schools. just want to experience the 100,000+ crowd).

What do you guys think?

Does anyone know if students going to road games is common?

The road games that have the most students attending are Stanford, UCLA, and USC (I’ve done all three). The games vs. the California schools are also the easiest to get tickets for. Since Furd and UCLA are at home this year the cheapest trip for you to make would be the SC game. If you have season tickets you should receive an e-mail a couple of weeks before SC weekend with details about buying discounted student tickets for that game. Student tickets for SC sell out fast so you’ll want to buy as soon as they become available.

Getting into the Cal section for the other road games will be more expensive because there isn’t a student allotment. However, other than SC it doesn’t look like there are any other cool road trip destinations on the schedule unless you can afford to fly out to Columbus for OSU.

If you are an incoming student you will receive an e-mail from Cal Athletics sometime between now and June/July with info about purchasing season tickets.

Dude if you can, go to all the California stadiums. I’m a UCLA student, but I went up to Cal during my junior year and Stanford this past year. Great times man.

Went to USC too, but that’s like 10 miles across from UCLA’s campus, so meh.

Do it man. It’s fun, especially if you’re going with your college buddies.

I know I could sell these cheaply on stubhub, but I did get two season tickets simply to support my son’s school (Cal), the newly remodeled Memorial Stadium, as well as get decent seats for the UCLA/Cal (Go Bruins!) games and Stanfurd game.

So . . . before I put these on Stubhub – for those of you who may have p.arents, family members, or whatever that will be up at Cal on the following days, I would be happy to send my season tickets to the following games, if you PM me:

Game 1 – Cal v. Nevada, 9/1/12 (Go Bears!)
Game 2 – Cal v. Southern Utah 9/8/12 (Go Bears!)
Maybe Game 3 – Cal v Arizona State 9/29/12 (Go Bears!)
Maybe Game 6 – Cal v Washington 11/2/12 (Go Bears!)

Nice 2 spots, aisle seats, lower II

I just got them in the mail today!

I will try to check CC a couple times a week to see if there’s any interest, but I’m a working stiff so don’t be worried if I don’t get back to you right away.

I hope someone on here has an interest – it will be so great to see the Golden Bears back in Memorial Stadium!!!
