Football games at Northwestern

Do a lot of people go and are there any spirit groups on campus?

I'm from Connecticut, so I can't visit Northwestern, but it seems AMAZING (especially that they have such a great football team and theyre so strong academically)

Ohio is closer to you so maybe you can go to see the osu-nu game this weekend. ;)

Go Cats!

Hawk, Schleigel, and Carpenter are going to crush Sutton and Northwestern's offense. Go Bucks!

yeah despite our relatively small student population (compared to other big ten teams) we have a pretty good turnout, and our fight song/ROAR are amazing.

I'm a freshman this year and I love football. After last weeks game vs. Iowa...being a fan at the games is absolutely amazing.

I love home football games, definitely my favorite thing to do on campus.

home football games are cool. We have this thing now since last year where all games football or basketball at home are free to all students. All you have to do is swipe your wildcard(student id), its included in tuition, so its best to make use of it. There's around 5000 seats in the student section and northwestern is going to be good for at least the next three years. Our offense is sick, our defense kind of sucks. Losing at homecoming was a drag, but before we did we were ranked 21 in the nation, which is sick. I think we still might have a shot at the conference and bowl eligibility though, we'll see, i think we lost today.

Haha, yeah, the defense DOES suck. They're still awesome, though.

We are already bowl eligible. Should have no problem with Illinois in our final game of the season.

How does basketball fare at NU??

I went to the Michigan/NU game this year at NU and I have to tell you, that is one weak crowd. Most people seemed like they didn't even want to be there...

For homecoming? are you kidding? Unless you mean the Mich State game.
