Warren going pro. Vincent Smith tore his ACL, and won't be totally ready to go at the beginning of the season. Our D will suck to new levels because we are losing 3 of our 4 best players.

That will make it all the harder for RR to keep his job. He has one season left. Let us see how he does.

Cancel next season!

Geez, lighten up. We have lost people every year forever, either through graduation, injury, general attrition or leaving early for the pros.

At least wait until the end of spring ball before you bury next year’s team. This does show why playing a bowl game, even a lower quality game, is crucial to a team’s success the following season - 15 extra days of practice!

A secondary of Woolfolk, Kovacs, Williams, and Turner or another guy scares the **** out of me. The LB suck, and Graham is gone. Very little chance of winning more than 7 games next year. We might only win 6. It’ll be tough to get another season when you win 7 games or less.

Next season will be all RR will get. He had his coaching entourage from day one and will have had two straight seasons will the kind of players he needs to succeed. If he cannot finish 8-4 or better, he is out of there! Well, 7-5 with wins over MSU and OSU would be good enough I guess. But I doubt he will do better than 5-7. As such, he will be asked to step down.

RR will be fired next season. he has not been given a fair chance and it is unfortunate. He came into a bad situation, brought in some talented players (Forcier, Robinson) missed on some bad players (Cissoko was arguably the worst 5 star player in the history of college football. Still laughing my ass off about what Notre Dame did to him). He has not had enough time to implement his completely new system and bring in his new players. If he were given 5 years he would succeed. However, next year Michigan will not be good enough, and he will be fired.

Jim Harbaugh will replace him and most likely win a national championship for his alma mater.

I love college football and have been a Cal fan my whole life but now that I am going to Michigan next year, I am really interested in the UM team. Every year, I go to what Cal calls the “Spring Game” which is a scrimmage in April that is open to the public so I was wondering if Michigan had something similar? It would give me a great excuse to fly in, check out the campus again, and get a preview of the football team before I move in. Also, I’m with you guys. If Rich Rod does not get the team to a bowl this year, he should be canned. His recruiting class isn’t looking any good either. Oh yeah, one more thing… don’t get your hopes up with Harbaugh. I live 5 minutes away from Stanford and the buzz around town is that he is here to stay. I do think he would be an awesome hire and great fit into the Michigan program though.

Harbough will not be coaching at Stanford in 5 years. He may not be at Michigan, but he won’t be at Stanford. He might even be able to jump to the NFL. He has a lot of connections there. I really think he wants to coach at Michigan, though, because he loves this place. Michigan’s spring game is usually in April.
