Football Tickets are Here - But Not In Student Section

Apparently, there were too many student requests.

Has this happened to others?

Is it easy to go sit in the student section even if that's not where your tickets are?

My freshmen year they made a bastard student section behind the goal posts at the opposite end of the stadium. We got yelled at every game to sit down because we were behind the alumni. Sadly, the one game I decided to go sit with friends in the main student section was Penn State when Manningham caught the game winner right in front of where I would've normally been sitting >.< .

It's not that hard to go sit in the normal student section. Just keep in mind things get more crammed and people are more likely to want to claim their actual seats the further down you go. Things are pretty fluid in the top 20-30 rows, where most freshmen sit.

Yeah, I got tickets in some random section as well. Oh well...

People stand wherever they want, more or less. It's a chain: He took my seat, so I'll take yours, and you can take someone else's, etc. You'll be close to your seating number, but there's a good chance you'll shift somewhere else and stand in a different seat every game.

i got section 6!!!! what is thisssssssssssss

anyone else get section 6?
row 13..

My son (freshman) got section 9, row 30. Not the student section, but I have to believe there will still be lots of UofM students in with him. At least he's got tickets! How bad can it be!!!!! Go Blue!

Section 37 Row 2...

-GF

Eh this is weird...I am in Section 27, row 77. Moved down a whole 16 rows from last year.

It really looks like things are quite spread out...I counted 3 different corners of the stadium.

can i just get in my section, and shimmy over towards the center of the field? im pretty skinny, maybe the people wont mind if i squeeze in between them? haha
