Football tickets for incoming freshman?

How does an incoming freshman get football tickets? Is this something we wait until orientation to do or can I do something about it now?

Season tickets for students go on sale on June 6th at 9AM for everyone. Although, the seats for the freshman are the worst in terms of where you sit in the student section.

Go on their athletic website, it’s right there.

Oh Thanks! I see it on the website…I looked on the athletic website before but could not find it…Thanks for the heads up!

All returning students have already ordered tickets, freshman will order in the summer. You get ticket priority by credits so freshmen obviously get the worst seats.

Seats don’t really matter though. The only number that matters is your section number. Beyond row 1-10 where the seniors sit/stand, its a free for all within the section you’re assigned to. I had tickets for one of the crappier sections and just ended up switching over to the better section with my friends, and we were able to get really close up (like row 20) without any issues (our tickets were like row ninety something). I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Kyle2011 is abolutely correct. My son (currently a freshman) applied for his FB tickets last summer and got tickets in a corner section of the end zone about row 25 (excellent seat). He was intermixed with junior-seniors but never had a problem sitting in his own seat – everyone just crowded together. Togetherness was welcomed for some of the more colder Novermber games. He thinks he got better tickets than many of his fellow freshman dorm mates because he came in with about 25-30 AP credits which increased his standing to “sophomore” He applied for next season’s tickets last week

Yeah echoing what others have said, the actual location of your seat doesn’t matter, just the section. But even then it’s easy to get around.
