Football tickets for students??

Prospective UF student and a huge sports fan. I was reading up a little on how students obtain tickets to games and kept hearing a lot about the booster club and how a lot of it has to do with donations and such. Would anyone be able to explain the process for students who want tickets and how difficult/expensive it is?? Interested in basketball tickets too and am assuming that its not nearly as hard as football tickets. Thanks so much!

UF students get in FREE to all Gator athletic events, other than football, with their Gator1 ID Card.

Student buy Season Ticket Football via a Lottery. The lottery usually opens April. See the following link for info on how it was done, last year. Last year, season tickets cost $105 and you paid when you entered the lottery.

Your chance of getting your season tickets is close to 100%. They didn’t sell out, so folks could still buy them late into August.

Men’s basketball follows a different process. You will register for the game, online, and then show up early so you can sit in the student section (which is a blast).

@Gator88NE Wow thats great that students have what seems like fairly easy accessibility to attending the games! Also nice that all games besides football are free. Thanks for the links. Very helpful to have all the info in one place.
