I am a student season ticket holder. I want to bring a non student to a game with me as a guest. How will I be able to secure a ticket for my guest? The gatorzone site is very confusing. Can someone please clarify?

There’s a way to upgrade someone else’s student ticket to a guest ticket. Not sure of the process. Id give the student ticket office a call, they’re pretty good.

find someone who is selling their ticket but who hasn’t picked it up yet. go with them to pick up their ticket and your ticket together. Ask for one of the tickets to be upgraded. Theres like a $40 upgrade fee (so it ends up costing the same as a non-student ticket).

Alternatively, find someone who looks like them, and borrow their UF id, and sneak your friend in using someone elses ID.

@Aforautumn I like your devious thinking lol

Thanks for the replies guys. Good to has some straightforward answers. :)

Question on curiosity. How much does a ticket usually cost?

if you buy them tonight, $15 i think. If you buy them in the aftermarket, depends entirely on the game.

Butting into this conversation… If you buy a student ticket and someone else buys a regular ticket, can you sit next to each other? Or is there student seating and guest seating?

they’re separate, and even student seats are ticket specific

I understand that student season tickets have to be picked up by the Thursday before the game at 5pm. And we can’t upgrade a student ticket to a non student til that Friday. So my guest will not be able to sit with me?

oh, i forgot about that. you just have to pick up the tickets together. when you go to upgrade the ticket, they just put a sticker on the ticket.
