Football Tickets

Should we login to MyBama at, say, 6:59ish and click the link? Or do we have to login after 7 and then continue on from there? I may login early and then refresh once it hits 7.

You can login early. But if you click the link before 7am you’ll get an error message. Just back out and click on it again. No need to sign out of MyBama and back in again unless it locks up.

What heading is the link for football tix under? When my son logs onto his mybama account he can’t find the link to buy the football tix - can someone let us know?? Thanks :)

According to the email he received it said that it was under the “Home” heading but there isn’t anything there yet - do they put the link up on that morning the tix go on sale?

It will most likely pop up sometime this weekend and will be up by the wee hours of Monday morning.

Are talking 7am CST or EST?

Hey, it’s Alabama and we’re in daylight savings time so it’s gotta be 7 a.m. CDT. That wasn’t meant to be sarcastic. I understand the anxiety about getting tickets. Been there, done that (at 2 a.m. HST–we don’t have daylight savings time). :)

Thanks everyone!

I will have to do the football purchase tomorrow morning for my daughter. Is it possible to purchase package A and B? I could not find that information on the web site.

^^

no. Frosh are limited to ONE pkg…so she needs to choose which one she wants.

She should be able to later get tix to the other home games thru the donation system or by purchasing them from other students.

Thank you for the quick response as we are doing a trial run now for me to sign on.

Package B - Unless you want her home for Thanksgiving…The Auburn game will be the big ticket…

That’s what we were planning. We will miss her thanksgiving but we are in Pennsylvania so she’ll probably want to stat. We are planning a visit for parents weekend. If she got Pkg A could we still get her a ticket with us for the Florida-Atlantic game?

I would guess so. I don’t think there will be huge interest in that game. Others could speak more to your real chances since I’ve yet to attend a game. Watching the Penn St. game in Bryant-Denny (away game) on the monitors at the Honors College Assembly probably pales in comparison. Some day…if only to hang out with casinoexec on the quad for a brief time…

Yes, buy package B if she’ll be on campus for the game against the cow molesters. You’ll be able to get tix for cheap for Fla Atlantic (Parent’s weekend).

Sure would be comforting to see the link before 7 – knowing all is well

It will be there. Worry not.

How fast do you think the packages will sell out?

‘B’ will sell out fast. I would guess that you could get the ‘A’ package late into the morning. How long ‘B’ will last is the question. Tough call with the Iron Bowl on Thanksgiving weekend. Still, get on at 0700 CDT and you should be fine…

Last year I thought the LSU package was a no brainer (it was) yet it was still available until around noon. The other package was available until the next day I believe.

If you’re on in the first hour I don;t think you’ll have any problem getting your preferred package. That said I’d still be on there at the stroke of 7am :-)
